Tired

I applied for my alien card today so between all the papers I had to have I am now an eligible alien with my passport, visa, health card and international drivers license. We had to take ANOTHER set of pictures, but they have these neat photo booths that give you 6 passport pictures - fun! Adrienne and I sat for 2 hours getting our health cards and alien ids YUCK! Then we went to McDonalds with Mr. Elofson and Chikako - mostly the same - might need to try the shrimp sandwich sometime :) The last few hours Adrienne and I have painted room signs and have been working in our rooms. I finished going through all of what I have in the room and organizing it. Now I need to organize the stuff I shipped here...then do my walls and book and clean and who knows what else - I'm tired now and my head hurts a bit...just realized I forgot to take meat out of the freezer for dinner - hmmm eggs maybe we have leftover ham to put in scrambled eggs - oops, no bread, grocery store tomorrow after we pick up Rachel! Anyway, all is well on this side of the world - starting to find my place at least :) I took pictures of my classroom in progress...it has a blackboard, we'll discuss that later :(

Can't wait to see what your classroom looks like...are you going with a frog theme? I already miss knowing I won't be able to go by your room and get cocoa packets. Love you both and I'm keeping you in prayer.

Ok... so what did you end up eating for dinner? The pesto chicken I ate was great... my first time! Think I cooked it a little too long (little dry) but thankfully I have a few more to try and get it right!

Jet lag really sucks the energy out of you for a few weeks. It takes longer to adjust than one thinks. I love and miss you!

Chalkboard? That's no good for you! I love you and miss you more than you know! I am praying that you will meet more friends soon and I'm glad you and Adrienne are good buddies/room mates! Hugs and kisses!
