Same ole Same ole...
WAIT! Can I say that when I live in Japan? hmmm, well really it's been a quiet week back after Tokyo so I guess for here, it's just been an average time...kids are getting excited about Christmas and I've been enjoying our little projects here and there...not to many crafts for me thank you very much! :) We had a LON (Ladies of Neighborhood) Christmas party on Friday which was lovely - I always enjoy my time with those ladies, they're an awesome group!! Saturday we did some browsing with Lori and the girls - went to some new stores, nothing I can't live without :) Typical Sunday at church - helped with costumes for the Christmas program (very excited to be doing a little drama!) lunch at the Rose Garden...it had been awhile...clam chowder is still yummy :) This week has been quick...including Thursday we went to the all church Christmas party - we hadn't planned on going but Pastor Wes was rather insistent and it was really fun! We had yummy dinner and played silly games - we laughed and talked and it was a really nice time. It's been a long time since I've really been a part of a church family - attending church just doesn't count and I can claim busyness or school and drama team counting as ministry but it just isn't the same as finding a church you can call home. Anyway, I'm home alone tonight for the first time in Japan and I have to admit it's been nice to putter around the house by myself...no worries, Adrienne and I are fine...I just declined the invitation to her class Christmas party...4 year olds after a long week didn't sound as nice as staying home! Tomorrow I have drama rehearsal - yea! - and in the evening we're having some school staff ladies over for a Christmas dessert...social diva and Christmas girl unite for a party! One week left of school and it should be a busy one. Miss you all, wish you would fit in a box to put under our very tiny 100 yen store tree (it was a little more than that, but it's actually green so that's nice!) or even in our Christmas bag (they were cuter than the stockings!) Adrienne put up lights too, I'll take pictures tomorrow so you can see the little box in all it's Christmas glory!

Sounds like good old times in Japan!
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas season. Love you always.
Continue to pray for wisdom and power in your life.
Dad
I'm so happy you're enjoying the church community and your fellowship with the believers.
I'm so glad you have a church that you feel connected with! I hope Christmas in Japan will be nice for you! Miss you!
